How much does it cost to rent Java Square?+
The main floor is $175 per hour with a two-hour minimum, then $150 per hour after the second hour. The upstairs conference room runs from $35 for one hour up to $120 for five.
When is the main floor available?+
Main floor rentals start within an hour after we close, or we can close an hour or two early for your event. If you want the space during normal hours — which means closing the cafe to the public — it requires a four-hour minimum rental.
Can I rent the conference room by itself?+
Yes — the conference room is available on its own during operating hours, or as an add-on to a main floor rental.
Who handles cleanup?+
You do. Decorations, food, and trash need to be out before your rental window closes, and the space left the way you found it. Setup and breakdown time both happen inside your rental window.
How do I hold a date?+
A 50% retainer holds your date, with the balance due 7 days before the event. The retainer is non-refundable within 72 hours of the event.
What comes with the rental?+
Tables, chairs, and booth benches to arrange as you like, background music over AUX, and a Java Square team member on-site for access and support. Main floor rentals get exclusive use of the space, closed to the public.
How many people fit?+
The main floor is about 1,000 square feet with exclusive use. The conference room hosts up to 25 and seats 17 comfortably.
